Songwriting Camp No. XII is coming up!
Started in 2022 our camps aim at connecting musicians with each other and Limusic Studio. Therefore our vision is to provide an inspiring and creative (mind)space for getting creative together and make use of what Limusic Studio has to offer.
Up until we have mostly organised these camps completely by ourselves. This time we took a different approach and are very pleased to anounce that this camp is taking place in cooperation with ZAHLBACH PUBLISHING.
About Limusic Studio
Limusic Residential Recording Studio is situated in the South of France – between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea.
Located on a former vinery with lots of space and surrounded by nature, the place offers inspiration without unwanted disctractions for creatives. Up to seven studios and writing spaces, apartments, a dining area, swimming pool and more offer an ideal environment to get creative.
Besides “regular” business as a recording studio, Limusic started curating their own writing camps in September 2022. Those camps aim at connnecting musicians to each other and the studio forming an increasingly global community and becoming the starting point for numerous collaborations.
Since 2024, the Limusic team also manages Jo The Man The Music (AT) and Greedo (GER). Both will take part in the camp.
About Zahlbach Publishing
Zahlbach Publishing is an independent music publishing company focused on building lasting creative partnerships and fostering artistic integrity.
Our carefully curated roster of composers and producers include artists in the international Hip Hop, neo soul and alternative music scenes.
Part of this camp will be our writers FloFilz, Wun Two, S. Fidelity, and Gabiga.
We believe in real collaboration. Through curated writing camps, residencies, and cross-border artist exchanges, we try to create opportunities for collaboration between vocalists, instrumentalists and producers from around the globe – always with the goal of creating meaningful music that resonates beyond the moment.
Guests from preview’s songwriting camps are Ovrkast (NY), Rubii (UK), Ill Camille (LA), Kallitechnis (LA), Cráneo (Spain), Collard (UK) and many more
Framework
This Songwriting Camp is all about connecting and getting creative together. For this all the studio rooms and the equipment are at your disposal.
A set of challenges will provide some guidelines and impulses to get you started, get to know other creatives and take you to different places of the studio.
Regardless it is also possible to work on your own projects during the camp. Zahlbach and Limusic are represented by their own artists and writers but don’t keep any copyrights besides that.
Conditions
We scheduled transfers to get everyone from the airport to the studio safely. Rooms and appartments are directly on site and will accommodate every participants during the camp (twin bed rooms).
Catering will also be provided by our excellent kitchen crew and prepared for you fresh everyday. When signing up, please let us know of any dieatary requirements.
Participation at the camp is possible on invitiation only. Participation fee is 200,00€ (plus VAT). Flights have to be paid by the participant.
Neither Zahlbach nor Limusic will take copyright credits from any participant (except those signed directly).

FAQ
The songwriting camp starts August 17 and ends August 21.
To allow everyone to take full advantage of three whole days, arrival is possible on August 17 and departure on August 21.
Travel by plane:
Airport Toulouse is the biggest regular airport in the region. There are direct flights from Madrid available.
There is also an airport in Carcassonne, which is operated by Ryan Air. There are only a few direct connections available, one of which is Porto.
Travel by train:
The closest train station is Limoux Flassian, which is 5 minutes from the studio. We can pick you up there. It is also possible to pick you up in Carcassonne. For everyone traveling from Barcelona, train might be a good option.
Preliminary times for Toulouse airport pick-up are 12:00, 15:00, 18:00 and 21:00.
Additional transfers are possible but not included.
For departure transfers will arrive at Toulouse airport at 06:30, 09:30, 12:30 and 15:30.
All participants reside at the various apartments and rooms at the studio complex. All of those spot bedrooms with two single beds and lots of bathrooms.
Bed sheets and towels are provided.
If traveling from the UK please bring power outlet adapters.
Our professional chef will prepare fresh meals for you three times a day. We start with a late breakfast, followed by lunch and dinner with starters and dessert.
We are happy to take into account allergies or preferences. Please mention those on the application form.
Participation fee is 200,00€ (excl. VAT). This is to help us cope partly for catering and accommodation costs.
Besides there are no costs except traveling expenses.
To keep the all-inclusive character of the event, we will invite you to the event personally.
